FOX - VOLUME SPACERS

Changing volume spacers in the shock is an internal adjustment that allows you to change the amount of mid stroke and/or bottom out resistance. 

• If you have set your sag correctly and are using full travel (bottoming out) too easily, then you could install a larger spacer to increase bottom out resistance. 
• If you have set your sag correctly and are not using full travel, then you could install a smaller spacer to decrease bottom out resistance.

Positive Air Volume Spacers:

• End-stroke ramp-up: Add progressiveness to the final 30% of travel to prevent harsh bottoming.

• Feel under heavy hits: Makes the end of the stroke firmer and more supportive on big drops or hard G-outs.

• Initial feel: Leaves the plush initial and mid-stroke completely unchanged

Negative Air Volume Spacers

• Initial suppleness: Decreases negative air volume to slightly reduce initial plushness and small-bump sensitivity.

• Mid-stroke support: Increases the feeling of support in the middle of the travel, preventing the bike from wallowing in corners.

• Overall pressure: Requires slightly lower main positive air pressure to achieve the correct sag, yielding a stiffer, more poppy ride platform
